As summer ends, thinking of spring

It’s Labor Day weekend and I look back and realize that I did very little ‘summer’ activities this year.  I was trying to remember when I last enjoyed a season in its true fashion.

Surprisingly, I did spring activities this past year for the first time in eons.   I planted and did yard work.  I actually dug in the dirt.  And enjoyed the dirt under my fingernails.

I encourage you to be more committed to the here and now.  This fall, do ‘autumn’ things.   Embrace the season!  Go leaf peeping, apple picking and trick or treating!
